Facebook was down for several hours on Monday, October 4, 2021, and then gradually began coming back online. At 7+ hours, it was the longest FB outage that Waynesboro.Com has experienced, and it was great motivation to make more progress on relaunching the main Waynesboro.Com web site.
After the outage, Facebook continues to have instability and broken functions, so we have to be ready for unexpected outages like this in the future. It was originally planned to relaunch this web site in the New Year, but I think that we can get something basic online sooner than that.
